CLI
The CLI finds pieces from your terminal and saves them as files in your project. The package is called vyblor, and it signs in with the same API key as MCP.
You need Node 20 or later and a Vyblor account. There's nothing to install: npx runs it.
npx vyblor loginYour account opens in the browser. Create an API key and paste it into the terminal. It doesn't show as you paste, and it's saved in ~/.config/vyblor/credentials, where only you can read it.
npx vyblor whoaminpx vyblor logoutIn CI, use the VYBLOR_API_KEY environment variable.
Find pieces
npx vyblor search buttonThe left column of the results is the slug. Narrow them with --type, --kind and --concept. This shows the values you can use.
npx vyblor list --taxonomyBring one in
npx vyblor add minimal-buttonThe default is React, saved as ./vyblor/minimal-button.jsx. --format changes that: html gives an .html file, and prompt a .prompt.md file.
npx vyblor add minimal-button --format htmlnpx vyblor add minimal-button --radius 12px --accent '#54386b'What add promises
- It saves exactly what the server sent, and does nothing else.
- It won't overwrite a file unless you add
--force. - It refuses a path that leaves your project, even through a symbolic link. Naming a path with
--outis how you write elsewhere on purpose. - A piece that needs a library such as GSAP gives you an install line and a licence link.
Limits and exit codes
The CLI counts towards the same limits as MCP. When you reach one, it says when to try again.
0- Done
2- A command or option was wrong
3- You need to sign in
4- A limit was reached
5- The piece wasn't found
6- A network problem
7- The file wasn't written
8- A server problem
